Silsden AFC 24/25 Awards Night

On Saturday we celebrated both our Ladies and Men’s end of season awards. With both teams making club history across their respective campaigns!

We kicked off the evening by introducing our new Silsden AFC Hall of Fame with the first inductee being John McNulty. An absolute legend down at Keighley Road having served as Groundsman for many years before his passing. His sons Sean and Jason collected the award in his honour.

The John McNulty Memorial Trophy was then presented to Vice Captain Harry Coates following his role in our first ever promotion to step 4!

The Ladies Team were up first for the awards with the winners as follows…

Manager’s Player – Lilly Chattoe

Most Improved Players – Lucy Ogden and Katherin Sharp

Player’s Player – Georgia Greenwood

The Men’s awards went to…

Top Goalscorers – Kayle Price and Casey Stewart – 26 Goals

Player’s Player – Casey Stewart

Manager’s Player – Cam Clark

Everyone at Silsden would also like to wish Tom Greaves all the best in his retirement, producing some of our personal favourite moments this season! Tom retires with 374 non-league goals to his name and was given a shirt in honour of that tally!

Our final thanks goes to John Lohan who is stepping down from the committee after many years of service, including as Chairman of the club! His time and effort has helped bring the club to where it is today and he steps down with the thanks and well wishes of all associated with Silsden AFC.

Thanks again to everyone who attended, we hope you all enjoyed the evening. Footage of the presentation is available online and we still have some programmes available from the evening!
