TEAMMATES | Liam Hudson

After a long chase from Manager Danny Forrest, Liam Hudson arrived at the Cobbydale Construction Stadium in Summer 2019. Liam quickly became a valued member of the squad with some strong performances at right-back. In the latter stages of the season, he played a vital role in midfield, protecting the back four and showing composure and quality on the ball as the Sils finished the season on a seven-game unbeaten run. A valued member of the squad on and off the pitch, here’s what Liam had to say about his teammates…

Best mate – Probably Ben Higginson the big dope. I’ve known him a while and we do a lot of work together! It can get a bit heated at times!

Joker – Probably Chris Wademan, he tries a bit too hard though at times and doesn’t have an off switch unfortunately. Arley Barnes a close second, he comes out with some beauty one-liners.

Teacher’s pet – Think everyone’s said this one… Dan Illingworth.

Hardest worker – Definitely between Joe Mitchell and Arley Barnes, they cover some serious ground.

Most skilful – Khurram Shazad without a shadow of doubt! Seen him tie several players in knots, including myself in training! Loves a megs!

Best Dancer – Not that I’ve seen him do much dancing, but Laurence Sorhaindo is always doing a few moves to himself in the changing room.

Future Gaffer- Could probably see Josh Kaine taking a managerial role, he’s a good skipper so I reckon he could take that to a gaffers role in the future.

Toughest – I don’t think anyone has said him yet but I wouldn’t like to take a dig from Ben Higginson, seen him dish some out, not for me!

Worst dress sense – Probably Chris Wademan, not seen much but he’s definitely got some rascal gear.
