Josh Brown returned to the club in summer 2019 after a four-year absence. During that time he has suffered two serious knee injuries, eventually recovering to have an outstanding season 2018/19 with neighbours and friends Silsden Whitestar. Josh has made a significant impact this season, his aerial ability and effectiveness in both boxes has been his trademark and he managed to bag a headed brace against Hemsworth back in December. Josh is currently recovering from another setback but we’re all looking forward to seeing back in a Sils shirt next season.

Best Mate – Probably Chris Wademan, I’ve known him the longest and we have played together a long time.

Joker – Got to be Chris Wademan again, you’re never safe when he’s around.

Teachers Pet – Dan Illingworth, loves showing off with his warmups and stretches.

Hardest Worker – Got to be Joe Mitchell, he never stops running.

Most Skilful – Khurram Shazad, easy one.

Best Dancer – I haven’t seen many of the lads dancing, but I’ve seen Matty Moses a few times and he likes to think he’s fairly decent at dancing.

Future Gaffer – I reckon Josh Kaine will be a good gaffer one day, he’s a good leader on the pitch.

Toughest –  Ben Higginson is always banging on about how hard he is, haven’t seen anything to back this up though.

Worst Dress Sense – Hard to call. I’ve seen Dan Illingworth’s work shoes though so I’ll go with him.
